MAE SARIENG TEMPLE @ MAEHONGSORN THAILAND
PROJECT : Guti means dwelling for a buddist monk in a temple. This architectural work was designed to be Guti for the abbot of Jomthong temple which was located in remote area of Mae houng sorn province in Thailand. The abbot was elderly with ailment and need sufficient relaxation. The old guti is very old have not enough good ventilation, moreover there are several monk live in. By donation a new guti was built and that functions was to support routine of the abbot such as chanting prayer, meditation and teaching. In the future, if abbot to pass away this guti will be transform to a museum at which his relics will be placed in for people to pay homage to. I got this project in september 2014. Our team’s leader collected a money from donation and started a project by themselves. I get a chance from them to design this abbot. This architecture’s construction was finished in November 2017.
